Hundreds of civilians die in Chernihiv. Every day 40-45 people are buried in the city. There is a queue for a week for the funeral.

Yatsevo Cemetery is currently closed because it is in a war zone. The mayor of Chernihiv, Vladyslav Atroshenko, told about it.

"We are digging trenches and we bury 40-45 people on average every day. There is a queue for burial for a week", – the mayor said.

In addition, the morgues are full, so additional refrigerators are being installed nearby. Three morgues are full.

The other day, Oleksiy Arestovich, Advisor to the Head of the President's Office, told Channel 24 that Russia had begun to use tactics similar to Mariupol in Chernihiv.

Russian strikes hit residential areas. It is revenge for Chernihiv heroically opposing the enemy.
