The resolution “Aggression against Ukraine” was supported by 141 countries.

Meanwhile, Russia, Belarus, Eritrea, North Korea and Syria voted against.

The General Assembly also calls for rapid, safe and unhindered access to humanitarian assistance for those in need in Ukraine to protect the civilians.

The UN urges an immediate peaceful resolution of the conflict between the Russian Federation and Ukraine through political dialogue, negotiations, mediation and other peaceful means.

The General Assembly urges continued efforts by the UN Secretary General, member states, the OSCE and other international and regional organizations to support Ukraine.
