According to him, more than 60 prosecutors and the Security Service employees remained in the territories temporarily occupied by the Russians and started working for the enemy.

That is why serious questions arose for their immediate supervisors - Iryna Venediktova and Ivan Bakanov.

Oleksiy Symonenko was appointed acting Prosecutor General. Until March 30, 2019, he worked as an officer in the Security Service, and then was a candidate for the position of deputy director of the Security Service of Ukraine. It is noteworthy that at that time the Bureau was headed by Venediktova.
