Among other things, this creates additional pressure on the market. The spokeswoman for the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Olena Zerkal said this in an exclusive interview with Olena Trybushna on Channel 24.

The fact is that the destroyed amounts of fuel were commercial and should be used for sowing and for human consumption.
"Russians aim to create pressure because citizens need to consume fuel", – Zerkal said.
Nevertheless, Ukraine and its partners are determined to run this crop sowing campaign as efficiently as possible.
"Because everyone understands that a failed crop in Ukraine means famine in some parts of the world later", – she explained.
