The State Emergency Service reported that around 4:30 p.m. several reports of fires broke out in the Sviatoshynskyi district of the capital as a result of Russian shelling.

As a result of the shelling 2 cars caught fire. At 17:04 the fire was extinguished. Unfortunately, 1 person lost his life. 10 rescue workers and 2 units of equipment worked on the scene.
Also, a 5,000 square meter grassy area caught fire nearby. The fire is still being extinguished there. 5 firefighters who used 1 unit of equipment are fighting the fire.
Another call involved a fire in a warehouse. The ignited area is 10,000 square meters. There was a danger of a grenade explosion, so the fire was extinguished from a safe distance.
According to preliminary information, 1 person has died. 67 rescue workers and 15 firefighting units were fighting the fire on site.
