Elina Svitolina continues to actively help the Ukrainian people, who are suffering from the inhuman aggression of Russian invaders. The tennis player and her husband Gael Monfils organized a charity event.

She raises money for the refugees

The Tennis with the Stars charity evening took place on March 8 in California. Elina Svitolina together with her husband, the famous French tennis player Gael Monfils took part in the event.

Other tennis stars, such as Bryan brothers, Frances Tiafoe, Jessica Pegula and Nick Monroe, also joined. All proceeds will be donated to help Ukrainian refugees who have been forced to leave their homes due to the threat to their lives.

An auction with precious lots was created for spectators. It featured autographed rackets, posters featuring spaniard Rafael Nadal, american Serena Williams and other star tennis players. Also among the lots was the Chicago Bulls basketball club cap with the autograph of the legendary Michael Jordan.

Svitolina added that it was difficult for her to watch the Russian invaders destroy the cities of her homeland and kill peaceful Ukrainians.

Elina expressed her gratitude towards the Ukrainians and the army that defends Ukraine from enemies.
