The Russian invaders suffered heavy casualties. Some of the Russian troops did not die immediately on the battlefield, but later. All because they did not receive proper medical care.

On the evening of March 22, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a daily report on the Russian war.

Ukrainian military officials stated that the Russian invading forces still have significant problems with logistics in almost all directions. They have suffered high casualties due to a poorly organized health care system. Units of the 7th Airborne Division of the Russian airborne forces have suffered heavy losses.

The heavy losses of the Russian invading army were caused by:

the failure to provide medical care in a timely manner;
the lack of a system for medical evacuation of the wounded;
lack of medicines.
